The Holographic Children is an art & music project created by Kyle Lim, a Filipino-American artist & streamer residing in California.

The Holographic Children follows the story of Kylo, an AI hologram version of Kyle, who was activated without a memory of who he was while alive but chooses to piece together his past life as well as the history of the world that he missed. In his fictional world Earth is owned by Disney in the post-apocalypse where dead celebrities are immortalized through the technology of AI and holograms. Kyle views each of his creations as his children hence the name and has also created a fictional world inspired by the virtual band Gorillaz's fictional concept.

Some people would ask "Shouldn't you be called The Holographic Child since you're solo?" and his answer is, "No, The Holographic Children are my music & art.” Kyle is hoping to examine the meaning of "purpose" and "identity" and how media and entertainment shapes our values & perspective on reality through his work.

The Holographic Children has released 3 EPs and 1 album, and is currently working on an EP to come out in 2024 called "The 5 Rings.” He has been featured in albums such as "225508", "No Dancing At the Pity Party" by Medium Franc, DAVSZN by WGWW, and wrote the Soundtrack for "I Can't Sleep" by Gina Chin-Davis.
